Ok, so I figured I’d check in. I’ve been dealing with some serious knee and back pain. I’ve been running pretty consistently for about 3 months and as of a few days ago when I was working out, I had to stop because the pain in my knee became so bad I couldn’t keep going. I tried resting for a few days and then tried running again, but I still had issues so I’m going to take a break for a while and see what happens. Anyway, other than that, things are good. I realized today that doing budget stuff and crunching numbers literally sucks the life out of me. I do realize it’s important, but it’s definitely not something I could make a career out of. I spent the day at work getting my budget for the year in order. It’s alot tougher than I thought because it takes alot of planning. I wanted to make sure that I set myself and my department up the best for success this year. Hopefully it should be done tomorrow. Also, I got the proofs in from integrity music for the Deluge CD project by jonathan stockstill and the bethany crew. It looks good! I have a few things to work on, but we should be done here in a day or so… Things are going really well at work. Right now I’m working with an amazing team to launch several things at new life this year. One is a ministry to artists and creatives called “The Community”. Another is our volunteer community at NLC called “Wired” and lastly, I’m working with a group of 12 young peeps that are nlccreative’s interns. They are awesome. Anyway, my eyes are really tired! I’m gonna bounce for now, just wanted to check in. - C
Ok, so I just finished my first national project. It’s a cd package for a band named “Deluge” with Jonathan Stockstill. Even though I haven’t actually heard the cd, I totally believe that it is awesome. I’m attaching the cover the cd package. I think it’s releasing sometime in march and I’ll make sure to let you know when it does so you can all go pick it up. I just want to say that working with jonathan and angie stockstill was an absolute pleasure. Angie is very creative and jonathan is just the nicest guy in the world. I highly encourage you guys and gals to pick up this new cd when it comes out. Cheers.
I’m attaching a song that I had the privilege of writing. It was developed into the song it is today by the amazing New Life Worship Team and the musical genious, Brandon K Shatswell. I feel so blessed to be a part of this amazing church. Through the good times and the challenging times, I feel that God has done more in life through my time at New Life than at any other point in my personal life as an adult. This song was born out of a very challenging time in my life and it seems that the testimonies that I hear from people about how the song has touched them only echo what God has done in my life.

Ok, so over the last few years, I’ve taken photo’s of my little brothers band. At times there were 4 of them, but as of late, it is only my brother and his friend isom. Isom is great kid and they are both extremely talented. If you want to give their music a listen, here’s the link: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=40309392. All that said, I’m going to post a few pix from our last shoot. We were experimenting with a ringflash and having a good time although it was freezing cold. The guys were good sports about it though. K, for now, cheers. c.
I have this goal this year to really grow my photography business. I really want to get more into cd packaging for bands and high-profile clients. This is now partially where I’m focused as far as goals for 2008. Anyway, I took several pictures of ben, but I’m just going to post this one for now. In the future, I’m going to try and implement a flickr account into my blog and once that happens, I’ll post more of my pictures. Anyway, for now…..
