Is this not the most colorful cake you have ever seen.  Not the deepest post you’ve ever read, I know.  I just walked by this cake during church today and had to take a picture of it.

posted from iPhoneSlide.com

I’m attaching a few shots I took from a photo shoot with my friends Julius Morgan and Lucy Harwell.  Julius is one of my closest friends that just shipped off to Iraq and Lucy is his girlfriend.  There are incredible people that Dee and I love very very much.  We actually just had the privelege of having Lucy stay with us for a month while her apartment was being made ready for her to move into.  Anyway, here are a few shots from our shoot.  It was a blast.  I hope to have the chance to do it again. Anyway, just thought I’d share these.  Blessings.

Here’s the band doing we sing glory at easter.  The audio is a little distorted, but the band did awesome.  You’ll notice matt leonard caught me holding up my laptop filming this song.  You could tell he had no idea what I was doing.  Kinda funny.  Anyway, This song makes me cry almost every time I hear it.  Go God!

I had this great intention today of posting an image of a website design I’m working on right now, but I don’t want to spoil it so I’ve decided to wait until the design is up on our development server.  The site is for a friend of mine, michael mitchell who co-owns a company called consolidated financial services group incorporated.  I’m starting to really like the design I’ve got.  My friend and I are hoping to have the design up and functioning in about a week so hopefully sooner than that, I’ll be able to show ya’ll something. Also, just to let ya’ll know, I’ve got a friend of mine name Kevin Kaiser who is the marketing guy for a new york times best-selling author, Ted Dekker is coming to town to speak to “The Community” and several other people from new life and around.  Next wednesday night, he’ll be speaking at Reliance Health care about “Thin Places”.  I’ll be sending out an email to the entire “Community” detailing his message.  It’s also being made available as an event on facebook so please sign up for it (here’s the link:  http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=12469081455&ref=nf).  Let’s spread the word.  Make sure you sign up to hear Kevin’s message because we only have 40 seats and we want everyone who wants to hear the message to be able to.  Secondly, the next night, on thursday, we’ll be showing an advance screening of Ted’s new movie, called “House”.  This is the first and only approved screening of this movie that is being shown nationwide, which is quite an honor.  Anyway, this is also an event on facebook so please sign up  (here’s that link:  http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=15002016396&ref=nf).  Hit me up if you have any questions.   I spent most of the day hanging with my wife, brother and sister-in-law.  I love those guys.  We had dinner at pei wei for all of you who care what I eat from day to day.   Sorry, no pics today.Blessings. C

I decided to go shoot a friend of mines band, Cities and Thrones tonight while they were playing at real life.  I only shot for about 3 songs and the lighting was low in certain areas so some of my shots are fairly grainy, but hey, sometimes grainy can look cool. Chris

Ok, one last thing before I go.  I’m going to keep everyone up to date on the projects I’ve got going on.  This is a site I designed for a friend of mine, Marty Roberson, who is a life coach out in Los Angeles.  he’s a great guy and has helped alot of people really overcome some significant challenges.  Even though the site is fairly simple, I really liked how it came out.  Of course there’s a whole ton more I would have liked to do, but for now, I think it works.  Ok, if you want to check it out, go to martyroberson.com Cheers.

I realize that this is now my second picture of my dog, but this image is for my family.  I figure every now and then I should put a picture of me online.  I don’t mean to seem self-absorbed, but, here’s one for the family.  By the way, my amazingly talented wife Dee took this picture.  Isn’t she awesome!

This is a few of my interns guys conducting a video documentary for a friend of mine, Aaron Reddin to help him raise awareness about his mens shelter falling apart.  We both have a heart for the homeless and broken and helping aaron raise money for this cause is extremely important to the heart of God.  Anyway, here’s a shot of them doing their work.

Ok, so we’ve spend the last few months gearing up for this one weekend.  The weekend we celebrate the resurrection of Christ.  I was thinking this morning about that reality.  I know what I believe but I as I was waking up early this morning for church, I was thinking how crazy it would have been to actually be in front of a closed tomb at night and see angels show up, roll the stone away and Jesus emerge from the tomb.  I know it happened, I just think it would have been crazy to actually be there, but with that said, Easter was amazing.  I’m attaching a few photos I took from the last service in conway!  Phil Noblit, Neil Greathouse and the rest of the team did an amazing job putting the whole thing together.  I didn’t know the total number of decisions that were made, but one of the guys on our team made the comment that even if only one made a decision, that would have been worth it.  Anyway, the team is taking a few days off so I intend to lay low.   For now, I’m out!  Happy Easter!Chris

Ok, it’s now 1:47am and I am getting to my “red bull” is no longer working phase which means my eyeballs are starting to turn red and my brain is slowly shutting down.  Part of me is like, just suck it up and finish what you started and the other part of me is wanting to embrace the wuss inside of me and throw in the towel.  Well, for now, I’m going to stick it out, but who knows…..
