Hi everyone. I recently completed a book trailer for Thomas Nelson that was for a new book by Ted Dekker and Erin Healy. This was the project I flew out to colorado springs for. Anyway, I asked if they minded if I showed you all because several of you I know of are avid ted dekker fans so… Anyway, here’s the book trailer that I did for their upcoming book release in January called “KISS”. Leave me some thoughts if you like it. I’m sure Thomas Nelson would love to know. We just debuted this video this week so feedback is good at this point. Enjoy!

I like it man. I think the sound effects when there is text loose their punch as it goes on like the law&order sound.

  1. yo, I see what you’re saying for sure. I guess when you do a video, you develop several blind spots. That effect does probably lose it’s effect after a few times.

  2. I have a question: what is the cost for production of a book trailer?

  3. Hi JC,

To answer your question, it really depends on what is required for the project. If it is a project that requires stock content such as photos or videos from sites like istockphoto.com or revostock.com, it can range from $1000-$1500. For projects that require original content, it will require video and/or photo shoots. A project like this can range from $5,000 – $15,000, but I like I said, I just depends on what is required for the project.

    Hope that helps!
