Ok, here’s a shot of the building where the “friends” live.  You know, from the show.

Secondly, here’s the statue of liberty as seen from the staten island ferry (which is a blast by the way)

Lastly, here’s my precious wife on the staten island ferry.

As I’m writing this, we’re both getting ready to head to have dinner in central park to celebrate our anniversary.  I have a big surprise for her, but I don’t want to spoil it yet so I’ll fill you in later.

Blessings.

Chris

Sorry for the distance. My iPhone camera doesn’t have zoom. Here’s the statue from the ferry

Today, we hiked up, down and all around NYC.  The weather above ground was amazing.  When we went below ground to ride the subway, it was SO incredibly hot!  Miserably hot!  Anyway, here’s the quick synopsis on today.

Missed our 9:30 movie/tv set tour of NYC

Goofed off in rockefeller center with dee (shopping, etc)

Took a tour of the MOMA.  The Museum of Modern Art.  It was amazing.  Shopped at some giftstores for the museums

From there, we headed to time square to meet up with our tour bus that took us around all of New York showing us all the places where bigtime movies were filmed.  I’m hoping to have some pictures up from that but it’s 12:46 right now and I’m exhausted so that will have to come later

The tour took 3.5 hours.  Fun fact:  I found out that the character, “The Soup Nazi”, from seinfield was actually based off a real man and location in NYC.  His name is Al Yeganeh and he runs his soup kitchen very much like the episode portrayed him.  Anyway, more stuff to come.

After the tour, dee and I kicked it in time square for a bit.

Then we grabbed dinner at chipotle.  Bought some “I heart NYC” t-shirts.

Then we celebrated life by donating 2 hours of our lives to wait in line with several hundred other people to travel up the Empire State Building and try to wedge ourselves into an open space to sneak a few pictures of the NYC skyline while trying to avoid getting bumped by some other excited (and might I add, foreign) tourists.

From there, we were exhausted, so we headed home.  Tomorrow is the actual date of dee and i’s marriage. We’re 5 years old tomorrow.  Lots o’ stuff planned.

Ok, here’s a pic from the of the Empire State Building of the evening skyline.

By the way, Mom and Dad, dee and I miss you a ton and wish you could be here with us both.  We love you alot!

Cheers.

Chris

Here’s the first segment to our little rock grand opening! It was amazing. I was privileged to have my hand in the creation of these videos with the creative guidance and inspiration of the Dr. of Creativity, Neil Greathouse

And judging me………..

I thought ya’ll would enjoy this little video made from inside our church van as we wait for some people to pay at the russian run, branson steak and shake. Enjoy!

There are only 2 things I want to say:
1) this is the first summer camp I’ve ever had where I will sleep on a super comfortable Hilton hotel bed

2) God is going to do some amazing things this weekend
